Jackson lost control of the black Corvette he was driving, and the vehicle struck a planter box before hitting a stop sign. Police later said there was no evidence of drag racing. “He was leaving the facility, and he was clearly driving too fast when he hit a street sign,” Renton police spokesman David Liebman said, via the Seattle Times....

A public prosecutor for the city, Pierres Sennès, said a Rwandan refugee who volunteers at the cathedral was detained by police.
