The tweet promoted a story about former Giants, Dolphins and Patriots cornerback Will Allen, who pleaded guilty to federal fraud, conspiracy and money laundering charges. As you may have noticed, both players are named Will Allen and played defensive back, leading to some confusion. Although the story identifies the correct Allen, a photo used to promote the story on Twitter featured the wrong one. And, as we know, a lot of people just read the headline or see a tweet without digging deeper, so someone could get the wrong impression of the ex-Steeler Allen....

Aidan Howard signed a letter of intent with Virginia earlier this year, but left school a month after arriving on campus. In a federal civil rights lawsuit filed Friday in U.S. District Court in Pennsylvania, Howard alleges the university “fostered a culture of bullying, abuse, harassment, and discrimination.” The 6-4 freshman receiver was receiving additional academic support because of a learning disability and claims he was bullied and mocked by teammates after they learned of his academic difficulties, especially when they translated to Howard having trouble understanding the playbook....

The hosts and guests of Fox & Friends weighed in Thursday morning on the news that Instagram was testing the concept of hiding post “likes” from public view on the picture-sharing app, with users in at least seven countries including Canada only having the ability to see their own likes.
