WWE announces major China TV deal It was a huge announcement for the WWE on Friday with the company striking an exclusive multi-year deal for both Raw and SmackDown to air on the Chinese streaming platform PPTV beginning June 28. WWE had been trying to enhance their penetration in China for several years and this deal does just that in a major way with PPTV currently reaching 400 million subscribers. Those subscribers will also have access to WWE pay-per-views and additional content via Video On Demand....

Jean-Luc Brunel, a disgraced French modeling agent who was under investigation for multiple accounts of rape and sexual abuse was found hanged in a Paris prison by apparent suicide. The 75-year-old died while awaiting trial after being charged in 2020 for the rape and sexual harassment of minors over the age of 15. Brunel had also been facing an investigation into claims that he trafficked dozens of underage girls as part of Epstein’s widespread sexual abuse ring....
