Making just his second start of the spring after signing a six-year, $130 million contract this offseason, Cueto got beaned on a comebacker off the bat of Billy Burns. Cueto seemed unfazed and even laughed off the situation while trainers visited the mound. He was allowed to remain in the game and gave up three runs on five hits with a pair of strikeouts.

The Giants said Cueto was unable to speak to reporters, according to the San Francisco Chronicle , and there was no immediate word on whether he was experiencing concussion-like symptoms.
