Rivers, 18, was arrested at 1:12 a.m. ET and released after posting a $1,000 bond at 2:54 a.m. ET. The Stone Mountain, Ga., native was a four-star recruit out of high school and has appeared in four games and totaled four tackles for the Bulldogs.

Rivers and freshman linebacker Natrez Patrick were suspended for Georgia’s game against Kentucky after being arrested for marijuana possession on Georgia’s campus on Nov. 4.

According to Georgia’s policy, a second violation results in a four-game suspension.
