“D’Vauntes has decided to enter the NBA Draft,” head coach John Thompson III said in a release. “He has given a great deal to this program and we will do everything we can to help him pursue his goals.”

Smith-Rivera lead the Hoyas in scoring this season, averaging 16.3 points per game. He was also named to the All-Big East first team and led his team to the Round of 32 in the NCAA Tournament.
The 6-3 guard became the 45th player in program history to reach the 1,000-point mark for his career and finished his junior season ranked 18th all-time at Georgetown with 1,386 points.
