NASCAR announced the return of Gateway Motorsports Park, where the trucks last raced in 2010, and New Hampshire Motor Speedway, where it last raced in 2011, to the 2014 schedule.

The series made a celebrated return to Rockingham in 2012 but will not be returning in 2014.

Rockingham Speedway owner Andy Hillenburg said NASCAR wanted his track on the schedule but he said that he had some “issues” — he would not elaborate — that he had to solve before he could have more racing at the track. Earlier this year, Rockingham could not meet its obligations to NASCAR to have a K&N East Series race at the track and that was canceled.

The series schedule will again include 22 races as Iowa Speedway will play host to only one race instead of two next year.
