Pinkel and university officials have agreed on an extension that will bring his annual pay to $3 million, rivals.com reported Monday night.
The deal still needs to be approved by the university and its Board of Curators, per the report.
Pinkel makes $2.35 million under his current deal, which runs through the 2017 season. He also earned $300,000 in incentives in 2013, rivals.com reported.
Missouri officials declined to comment when contacted by rivals.com.
