During Georgia’s game against Auburn last week,UGA running back Brian Herrien ran into photographer Chamberlain Smith on the sideline. It was an unfortunate scene as medical personnel surrounded Smith on the sideline. She had to be removed off the field via stretcher, and later said she suffered a concussion from the hit.

Danielson was criticized on social media at the time for how he handled the situation. At one point he laughed, and at another he asked if she “got the shot.” On Saturday, Danielson apologized because he says he was not fully aware of the situation while making comments on air.

Smith has posted several updates since being hit, and even seemingly took a subtle shot at Danielson by saying she did indeed get the shot.
She also posted Saturday, with a black eye, that she’s still cheering on the Bulldogs.
