Florida State’s Heisman-winning quarterback is facing a university disciplinary hearing over sexual assault allegations made against him in 2012, ESPN.com reported late Friday night.

From the report by Mark Schlabach:

Winston has five school days to schedule an information hearing in preparation for the disciplinary hearing. ESPN’s report offered no timetable for when the information hearing needed to take place.

A person from outside the university would conduct the hearing, according to the report, and three people are prepared to hear the case. Representatives for Winston and the alleged victim can each disqualify one of them.

Prosecutors did not charge Winston.

The ESPN report comes on the heels of FoxSports.com reporting that documents show FSU, Tallahassee police and university police tried to impede an investigation of Winston in 2013. Hours before Fox’s report, FSU released a statement defending its handling of the Winston matter.
