So the restaurant that serves breakfast anytime is being proactive this week.
Waffle House CEO Walt Ehmer told Saturday Down South in a release that the winner of the Auburn-Georgia game on Saturday will earn free waffles, hash browns and coffee to the winning city, as well as $15,000 to the university’s general scholarship fund.
“College football is a big tradition in the waffle nation and we wish both teams good luck,” Ehmer said.
And, in case you forgot, last year’s game between the Tigers and Bulldogs turned into a pretty big deal.
