It is possible junior forward Jameel McKay could start over senior guard Bryce Dejean-Jones once again. Dejean-Jones had started every game this season for Iowa State until he was late arriving prior to the Cyclones 75-38 win against Texas Tech on Saturday, according to the Ames Tribune.

“We’re going to make that determination after our shootaround is over,” Hoiberg was quoted as saying. “Whoever we do start, one thing I know is that both of those guys will have huge roles in tonight’s game.”
McKay had an excellent performance as a starter vs. Texas Tech. He scored 17 points on 7-of-7 shooting to go with eight rebounds and three blocks.
Dejean-Jones is Iowa State’s second-leading scorer this season, averaging 12.5 points per game. Junior forward Georges Niang is first at 15.2.
The Cyclones square off with the Sooners at 9 p.m. ET Monday.
