Epic Games and Microsoft have combined to create the Fortnite Xbox Cup, which will be hosted this weekend. Unlike the World Cup, this event will be strictly Solos grouping. This event is unique because Epic Games’ previous events have all mostly catered to the PC gamers.

Now console players will get an opportunity against other console players rather than compete against PC users.

Fortnite Xbox Cup Details

The Fortnite Xbox Cup is pretty much identical to the World Cup event in terms of how to play. There will be a three-hour window to compete in 10 games and put up as many points as possible via the scoring system (listed above). The competitions will be played in six different regions, with the top 3,000 from each region advancing to play in the Finals.

Then, based on region, the top competitors will earn prize money based on their placement during the Finals on Sunday. Depending on the size of the region, there will be more or less money handed out.
