Former Michigan Assistant S Nephew Among Officers Killed In Baton Rouge Report Says

Police officers were killed on Sunday as part of a shooting in Baton Rouge, La., less than two weeks after the death of Alton Sterling.

Jackson, a Baton Rouge, La., native, was a longtime assistant coach at Michigan from 1992-2014. He was an assistant on the Wolverines’ national championship team in 1997 and renowned for his work with the running backs.

He is currently the coach of the Ypsilanti (Mich.) High School Football team.
