Fans would have respected his decision had he just moved on, but he decided to trash talk the Bills after signing his contract with New England. Gilmore riled up the Bills fanbase with a tweet he sent in July, mocking the team’s prominence.

Fast forward to September after the NFL season started, and you’ll notice that tweet didn’t age well. The Patriots lost Thursday night to the Chiefs, and Gilmore was a big factor as his poor play led to a 75-yard touchdown by Tyreek Hill.
After that big play, Gilmore’s former teammate on the Bills, Jerel Worthy, saw the perfect opportunity to poke some fun at the cornerback.
