Shiner (malevolent) and Irwin (sweetheart) are mimes, clowns, dancers-call them what you will, but they are brilliant in all those categories and more. For instance, the category of people who get whooshed offstage feet first by invisible magnets. Or the category of people with faces and bodies so elastic that a single touch makes them crumple and sag and deflate. Shiner is a veteran of the new-wave Cirque du Soleil, and Irwin has been seen on Broadway in the award-winning revue “Largely New York.” Now they have teamed up for a giddy array of shtiks they call Fool Moon. With them is that incomparable band, the Red Clay Ramblers. Warning: Shiner has a habit of plucking people from orchestra seats to join him onstage. The results are hilarious-but the timid should sit way in the back.
