By Sunday afternoon, a Gainesville Police Department spokesman was releasing that apologized to Debose for the release of incorrect information. The Gainesville Television Network reported that Debose, a senior receiver/kick returner with the Gators, was involved in an altercation late Saturday night. In that altercation, Debose threw another person through a glass window, according to the report. Gainesville Police told GTN that Debose was not arrested.
